Round 2

we went to services this morning...i had held out going to the temple for as long as possible because, well, i didn't want to be let down. our jewish identity has been such a big part of our lives and our identity that the easiest way to deal with the fact that we don't have a community in san fran is just not to think about it. but at this time of year, it's impossible to ignore and so i stayed awake most of last night itching and thinking about what we would find when we arrived today.

and services were beautiful. without a doubt the most spiritually fulfilling high holiday experience we have ever had. i mean, no doubt, we had way low expectations...but regardless we were both pleasantly surprised by what we found. we choose the late/contemporary service which was held in the main sanctuary. no robes. no choir. no organ. the best was that instead of a cantor the singing was led by MARSHA (you know, camp song leader). she continues to have the most gorgeous voice and while some might argue that i'm a bit biased..."by the waters of babylon, where we laid down, and where we wept, as we remember zion..." it took our breaths away.

Shannah Tovah U'Metukah - Translation: I Get a Wardrobe Allowance!

fair warning - i might post three times today...there is just a lot to say and i don't feel like i should put it all in the exact same post.

i was going to start for the story about the character formerly known as the king, but that will have to wait just a moment because i have much more pressing news....you might remember that yesterday i had training for my new position - stylist/personal shopper for the luxury line. we learned about how to keep a client book, what's coming in the holiday line (GORGEOUS) and discussed our personal selling goals (holy crap!). but most importantly we received the following bit of news - every season we get a wardrobe allowance!!! that's right, two monogram bottoms and two monogram tops per season for 100%, abso-freaking-lutely free! amazing. my jaw dropped so fast and i smiled so hard that i have no idea what was discussed at the meeting after this bombshell exploded. but here's the question...there are officially four seasons at pineapple nation (like everywhere else i guess) but each season is divided into at least two mini seasons...do we get to shop per-season or per-mini-season? if you know...let me know. oh, and they will pay for our dry cleaning...SCORE!

needless to say (again) i am beyond excited about my position. so excited i couldn't sleep. i've had a lot on my mind about planning my future and basically seem to repeatedly get all overwhelmed and itchy so for now...this is my answer. i'm going to stick with what i'm doing for the next six months. i'm going to see if i love being a stylist (really?...is there any doubt?). and i'm going to focus on writing. like schedule. deadline. word count. six months. we'll see what happens. but if i don't get a day off i request...i'll still quit :)

okay...and now quickly, the story involving the character formerly known as the king: last week, while my parents were in town the three of us went down to santa cruz for the day to see a family friend (side note: if i was a city i would be santa cruz). our family friend had other visitors in town: a mother and daughter from westpo. the daughter seemed to be the same age as THE CHARACTER but when my dad asked if she knew him, she searched her brain and responded no, but she also graduated from the same, small high school in 2003. while having lunch our family friend asked about THE CHARACTER. somehow i started talking about meeting his ex and how i had all of these expectations of how THE CHARACTER would be different around her. instead, even around the gf, THE CHARACTER was his argumentative, stubborn, opinionated self. to which the girl from westpo interrupted..."class of 2003? THE CHARACTER?...i know him!" ahhhhh, validation at last!

I Think of Myself as Difficult to Shock

today, on my walk to work, i noticed that i was passing more men in harnesses, latex hot pants and pleather ass-less chaps than usual. it's the kind of thing that isn't SO noticeable walking through castro but as i got further and further down market st i figured something had to be up. turns out this weekend is the folsom street fair and all these mostly naked men were headed to the same place. i haven't had time to read up on the history of this street fair, or what about it attracts men in rubber but if you follow the link i'm sure you will be educated (fair warning - the preceeding link is not for the faint of heart).

in other news, i got the promotion and beginning tomorrow i am officially a pineapple nation MONOGRAM stylist. i don't really know what any of this means, except that i believe i'm required to wear heels (god help me) but tomorrow i have training beginning at 8:30 am. i will fill you in when i know more.

my parents left this morning...it was a fabulous trip full of really good family friends and way more special time then my mom and dad would have had with us if we still lived on the east coast. it's about quality time right? the high point was dinner HERE last night. so cool. if you come visit we can go...but only if you come visit.

i have a really really really funny story about the character formerly known as THE KING...but you'll have to come back later in the week.

I Sorta (Okay Really) Want to be Rachel Zoe

i tried so so so hard not to watch - because from everything i've read she's a horrible person and she doesn't eat and that's not a good image for teen girls...but i watched yesterday and now i'm totally hooked. oh. my. god. she gets to do all my favorite things - play with beautiful clothes and beautiful people all day long. and her cocktail rings! wow. i see my possible promotion to MONOGRAM stylist at PN as my own way of being her (lite). ok. breathe. i just really love her. and hate her. life is heard.

i'm obsessed with our neighbors - surprised? dinner last night was awesome complete with a squash soup and a salad that included avocado AND shrimp...two of my very favorite things. she's a gardener/teacher/addiction counselor and he's a doctor and science fiction writer. they've lived next door since the early 80s with stories about the passed residents of our place, our upstairs neighbor and the history of our soon-to-be-gorgeous-again garden. they drop the f-bomb comfortably but only when necessary. so yeah...i'm obsessed. we'll have to reciprocate...once my parents leave.

speaking of parents...they arrive in a little over two hours...and i still have to do my hair. i have two small projects for them once they arrive which i think will be the perfect amount of work. i wish we could have fixed the closet but alas...i don't think MARGARET ELIZABETH (the upstairs neighbor) appreciated the drilling at 10:30 last night. after, my dad really should have to work for his supper.

My Apartment Rocks!

no one who knows me should be surprised to read that i have a tummy ache. for the last week i had been planning to call in sick today, because we were invited to dinner at our neighbors (i know, so nice) and in retail it doesn't seem like you can just leave early. ABN kept encouraging me that it's okay to take a day, that my feet could use it and that nothing bad is going to happen if i miss a day - after all, it's not suicide...but starting yesterday afternoon i started feeling not so hot and late last night i started downing the pepto so today, while i did just call in sick...i feel rather crappy as well...and at the same time, now that i've gotten off the phone with CHARLES, one of the managers...i'm starting to feel better. some things never change. this is why i had those horrible stomachaches my last two years of college.

still a day off is no day on the couch (after i watch THE VIEW...but that goes without saying). my parents arrive tomorrow and while sunday we were totally ready for the IN-LAWS, things have started to fall apart in the last 24 hours. first my closet broke. i know i am probably partly to blame...it was packed pretty full (imagine that!) but in the middle of the night the poll and top shelf came crashing down along with every article of my perfectly organized clothes (the closet really was quite gorgeous, i'm an expert after all you know). so now all my clothes are piled in the living room and i am off to either bed and bath or home depot or possibly both to figure out how to fix the situation. then last night, as i lay in bed rubbing my tummy and reading vanity fair, the brand new fridge started making a very loud running noise. ABN shook it, which seems have helped but i haven't had a chance to check to see if it is still cold/working...please keep your fingers crossed. then of course there are the two rugs that we have yet to lay out (bedroom/living room or living room/office or office/bedroom?!?!!?). it involves moving furniture and big decisions and i really don't have the energy and i'm sure my dad will have an opinion anyway so...we're waiting. my parents keep saying they want to help us set up our place and other than the rugs (and a few plate stands) we're good to go...so dad, get ready, there are rugs to be placed!

like i said before, tonight we're going to the neighbors for dinner - which is just so nice. they told us to come over at 8 and that the door would be opened which is basically the creepiest thing i've heard but i've decided to go with it. i could be like tori spelling and pack a knife in my bag...wait, i don't think i had previously admitted to reading this...shit.

what does one bring to dinner at the neighbors who don't drink (well at least MS. NEIGHBOR doesn't drink) and who are landscape architects and therefore have no shortage of flowers? discuss...

and now what you've been waiting for...

our living room looking into our entry hall...standing in front of the tv...notice the amazing paint color!

ari's office - we left almost all his old office furniture in boston and now he has a grown-up desk! and lots of bookshelves

the bedroom which for now is staying purple because, i can't imagine doing anymore painting and i don't hate it...although we might need new bedding eventually. look! ari hung the chuppah!
my wedding photo project in the entry hall - you have to come visit for the full effect :)

My Curly Piece of Chocolate

the in-laws are in town for a night, and after showing them around our neighborhood, eating lunch on our back deck and looking at photos from their recent trip to greece, we're about to head out to an early dinner in noe valley. MR. IN-LAW is taking a brief cat nap on our bed and ABN is explaining his job to MS. IN-LAW. i'm taking a few minutes to write, because if i don't, i fear i simply won't.

we're all unpacked which is just...lovely. i feel settled and while we have no friends to speak of...i have my bed and new towels from restoration hardware and a place for all my shoes and these are things that i need to survive.

i spoke to CURLY this morning and i know this is going to sound extremely...lame...but it was just so wonderful/calming/natural/reassuring/connecting to hear her voice. obviously we became friends in college (and in some ways before college) but our friendship only strengthened over beer in nyc in our neighborhood irish pub and then when i moved back to boston she arrived not long after because, well, it just made so much more sense for us to live in the same city (i mean, sure she was offered the job of a lifetime but i was there too!). it is hard to be away from everyone - and there are times when it is easy for me to mentally go back to my 17 year-old self, who moved across the country and lost all of her friends. i'm a different person now and i have different friends...but sometimes i still go back to that place. with CURLY i know it's okay to be far away - it's better to be together but the distance will not destroy us. today...today i wish we could drink beer in the irish pub a few blocks away, either in my city or hers, and i could hear her voice while looking at her bouncing curls. that would be a perfect sunday.

The Luxury Line - Clearly Where I Really Belong

wednesday was basically the best day of my entire life...okay that might be an exaggeration but it was for sure the best day in recent memory and the most appreciated. a day off. amazing. i'm off again today and it's great, but nothing can compares to a day off after being on the selling floor for five straight days in a row. my feet have never been so grateful.

because i had been working constantly, wednesday was filled with many errands (hey, i could have had a dentist appointment and i still would have been thrilled!) but the real highlight was a lunch date with HEBREW SCHOOL. HEBREW SCHOOL and i carpooled together to temple isaiah way back when, before both of our families became east coast transplants. there were five of us in the carpool - which i'm realizing, as i type this, is more than a traditional car can hold, because there was also always a mom driving...so where did we all sit? anyway, in the last two months we have both become transplants again, back to the west coast and had a great time catching up on the many years that we have missed in each other's lives. we'll do it again, the next time i have a second to breathe :)

ready? yesterday i'm on the floor, doing what i do best (apparently), selling, when i get called in to the store director's office (yep, there's a store director). immediately i think i must be in trouble (i always assume the worst, i am my mother's daughter). turns out - she, and the entire human resources staff from corporate - want to consider me for a new position they are creating - stylist for the MONOGRAM line - and they want to interview me...NOW! i had heard about the position but hadn't considered myself a candidate because, well, you were supposed to have done $400,000 of sales this year to be considered. anyway, i had my interview, somehow connected suicide prevention to sales, smiled and will hear more next week. i probably shot myself in the foot when i announced i would be taking all the jewish holidays off - but it did feel good to even be considered. i did ask them, in the middle of my interview...what the hell i was supposed to do about my feet (i am going to attempt to get a pedicure this afternoon but i am fearful that woman might refuse to touch me!). i'll keep you all posted...and if i do become a monogram stylist...i promise to remember where i came from.

A Mix of Real and Really Real

okay, i know you have all been waiting with baited breath for me to weigh in on this very important topic. at the end of the day, i'm glad the daddy is dylan. in some ways, even though it is sad that DYLAN and KELLY aren't together right now, we know there is more to their history than what we have seen on the show. i was for sure rooting for STEVE (only because, come on, he is the best cryer out there! we need him to come back!) and even rationalized that the kid's name (SAMMY) could be after STEVE'S mother SAMANTHA SANDERS (i'm a genius, i know), remember how they made her a lesbian in the last season...and then how STEVE had to DEAL with it? all the crying!?!) but that would have meant that STEVE and JANET were no longer together which would have basically been tragic...tragic. and now i'm done.

in an effort to get back to MY life, rather than the lives of people on MY SHOWS...

ABN and i ate dinner together again last night...salad full of purchases from our local farmer's market, topped with chicken breast. a nice balance to the grandma's spaghetti from the night before (oh we are still feeling that). we started talking about the fact that since unpacking the GRE book, it has remained placed, permanently, on the same space of floor in our bedroom. have i given up on the idea of grad school?

i have no real answer and at the same time...so many. thinking about grad school makes me break out in hives (for obvious and not so obvious reasons). it makes me *crazy* to think about the process itself, if it will work out, if i can be successful. do i need grad school? am i really interested in these programs? can i see moving up at PN in my future? can i take myself seriously if that is what i really wanted? would i judge me? would you?

i do know that if i don't move forward with grad school now, it isn't going to happen for the foreseeable future. this is the time...these are the years. i am officially not looking (right now) for another "real" job (if i stay at PN i think the first step may be referring to what i do as a REAL job, i've truly never worked so hard in my life!) but i did hear about one job that is amazing...and while i don't think i'll get an interview, if it ends up being the right job for me, that would mean no grad school - so would deciding to look for a job in the non-profit world. decisions scare me. PN hurts my feet.

discuss.

i have my first day off in what feels like forever. i can't imagine what it will feel like to not be walking back and forth - back and forth...i feel like maybe i should pace my apartment. instead, i'm off to have lunch with a friend i used to carpool with to hebrew school. and maybe to buy some new towels...after all my parents are coming in a week!

They're Back!

apparently, due to the enormous amount of time i have been spending at PN and unpacking box after box, i failed to dvr the premiere episode of gossip girl. this morning i choose to forgo my typical today show viewing in order to catch up. i was shocked to see summer scenes flash before my eyes: the hamptons, the white party, serena and nate and serena and dan...where's jenny? luckily, for the most part it has taken me a total of five minutes to catch up...although i am confused by this sexual tension (?) that i sense between dan and jenny's dad and vanessa. meh?

i'm sitting on the couch, delaying getting ready for another day at work as long as possible, although the sun is shining directly in my eyes through the huge window and so i'm typing with only my right eye open...which is giving me a headache. i know i could get up and clothes the blinds but that seems like an awful amount of work.

last night ABN and i ate dinner together sitting at our dining room table - how dignified. it's almost like we're settled or something. we tried to play scrabble together but my feet hurt way too much so instead ABN popped my blisters. it was totally sterile and totally gross.

our neighbors called last night to invite us over for dinner one night next week.

the gas company came out to check our "gas leak"...apparently the smell was simply what happens the first time you use a new oven...and i've heard movement upstairs so i assume all is well.

tonight is the night...we find out the identity of kelly's baby's daddy...last minute to place your bets. i'm going with steve sanders both because i want steve back SO BADLY and because of the blonde hair...stay tuned!

Grating Cheese

i'm not working until 3 today so i'm taking the opportunity to hit the grocery store and do some cooking for the week - grandma's spaghetti and tortilla soup. so this will be short. i have huge blisters from friends and family weekend (not my friends or family but still). it was crazy, but the time passed quickly and today i can pick up my paycheck. which is awesome because today i purchased my flight for vegas to see NKOTB (it's true!).

yesterday on my walk to work i passed a tightie-whitie car wash in the castro and i thought...only in san francisco.

We Might Have Killed the Old Lady Who Lives Upstairs!

i tried to make a piece of toast this morning, NANI-style, in the broiler. but instead my entire apartment filled with gas and we had to open all the windows including the back sliding glass door. i had to turn the oven off - no toast. so...we had to leave. ABN insisted that we walk around the block (apparently the gas not only makes one light headed but made this red head extremely moody) and we ended up at the farmer's market and bought our produce for the week.

now we're back, the house still reeks but i think we've both decided it's safe...enough. i just stuffed my face with cereal and coffee and will soon done all black - it's friends and family weekend at PN and we have a dress code. the good news is i'm off in time for a nice date with ABN, the bad news i'm working today and tomorrow and monday and tuesday. see it turns out i'm a super seller (i was #1 on thursday!) and so they are putting me on during peek-shopping hours - which are not exactly the hours i would like to be working. we'll see what we can do about that.

i was off yesterday and made a second (and hopefully final) trip to ikea. i also completed a photo project/surprise for ABN that i'd been working on for quite some time. i took some of our favorite wedding shots and blue them up to various sizes, changed the color to sepia and framed them. right now they are arranged on the coffee table but hopefully in the next few days we'll get them up on the wall. right now - it's officially my favorite part of our apartment.

unlike the oven. and all i wanted was a piece of toast.

Dylan, Brandon or Steve - oh My!

i missed my "lunch" today because i was working with a customer. she was looking for something to wear to an interview - we had very different pictures of what is "interview appropriate." i kept pointing her in the direction of suiting (it's a new term i now throw around) and pencil skirts. she kept bringing back short skirts and low cut dresses. i like to think that we ended up somewhere in the middle but most likely, she got her way because at the end of the day, i don't really care.

because i missed my lunch they let me leave half an hour early. with my extra time i decided i should walk home (it's about an hour and 45 minute walk from our new place) since it was late afternoon and i wasn't totally exhausted...yet. my project for this evening has been the bathroom - or should i say rooms, remember, we have a toilet closet...it's weird. it's a really really small room with no cupboard or extra space to put shelves so i'm confused as to where someone puts necessary bathroomy things like extra toilet paper and tampons...was that too much information?

side note - i'm watching 90210...who is kelly's baby's daddy!!! i'm dying! somehow my dvr missed the first 20 minutes and i fear i missed finding out the truth!

i have a long list of non-apartment things that i seem to never have time to do. and my list gets longer each day. there's the book club i want to start with the four or five girls i've me/reconnected with since we arrived. there's the fancy bottle of wine i want to take over to the realtor who helped us score this place. there's the check i want to send to boston to support the ride. there's the job i need to send my resume to (don't worry, i'm not seriously on the job hunt again, but there is something that has peeked my interest). there's the story that's been swarming around in my head for weeks that i'm dying to get down on paper. there's the curtains i want to sow for our living room. our honeymoon scrapbook...that would be good to get done. i need to fill out the forms so that we can officially join the temple (i know, so grown up). oh and there's grad school applications and the gre...somehow those two seem to be constantly at the bottom of the list.

i did find time to buy my tickets to this. my TALL friend and i are making the trip to vegas...i just need an airplane ticket and a hotel room...don't worry, it's on the list.

and on the kelly front: my newest guess (i'm 30 minutes-ish in) is KYLE...remember him? oh, or maybe JON SEARS...now that would be scandalous!

Is Size 0 Really Your Smallest Size?...EW!

home. literally. we're not unpacked and i don't know where anything is. but at the end of the day, i'm on my red couch, watching my tv, still typing on ABN's computer - but that's besides the point. i still need to go back to the old place and clean...but i have friday off. and right now, i'm watching heidi and spencer and while they seem so wrong, it all seems so right.

so i didn't share this the first time around because well, it could have been a fluke, but yesterday, for the second time, iw as the number three seller at pineapple nation. what? how is that possible? it turns out i'm gifted. gifted in selling. and i got two pineapple cards, which, i'm told is the point of it all. how did i get these cards you might ask? well, when i got in yesterday i was told there was a 30% off sale...only i heard that you got 30% off if you opened a card...so while everyone else was having trouble getting people to get cards (which at the tie i couldn't figure out) i was racking them up. at about 5 o'clock i figured out what was going on..oops.

today i met mr. gap inc. that was cool. today three old spanish women ran around the store in their undewear. that was awesome.

West Coast Weekend

secret life of an american teenager is like a lifetime original movie - painful, but i can't stop watching. oh. my. god. if you haven't watched, don't. and if you have...can we discuss?

we're both exhausted and the story is the same - unpacking. the more we unpack the more it seems that we need to unpack. it's an endless pile of boxes i can't seem to crawl my way out of. we spent all day yesterday at the new place and at 4 o'clock decided it was time for a trip to ikea. 6 hours later (yep) we started loading the car. i have no idea what we were thinking (we weren't). we bought way more furniture then could possibly fit in the car and because the store was closed there was no friendly, yellow shirted ikea man to help us. instead we pushed and we pulled and we squished and we shifted and an hour and a half later the car was filled to the brim and i had to take a $50 taxi ride home. we slept at the new place because we figured it was safe to leave a packed car in the drive way overnight. it felt incredible to sleep in my own bed...i'm famous for my bed...in the best possible way. we're known for our sheets. come visit - please!

sleeping in my own bed made me realize how much i have missed certain things. i never considered myself a "stuff" person - i'm a people person. i need my friends and my family. and apparently the following "stuff":

  • my sheets, my good sheets
  • my green glass mug from israel...my tea tastes better in my green glass mug
  • my orange teapot to make the tea that goes in my green glass mug
  • my bed that is so high in the sky it hurts my knee to climb into
  • my tracy porter dishes complete with peacocks of course
  • my pomegranate ketubah with the signatures of CURLY, MRS. FCR and BZ and of course me and ABN
  • my clock radio so that i can listen to NPR anytime and anywhere..it's so simple but it turns out the world has a limited number of radios
  • my shoes...all my shoes
  • my electric toothbrush - although since moving to SF two people have remarked about how white my teeth are...maybe we have different standards on the west coast
  • my chuppah - even though i don't know what to do with it, or where to put it...it makes me feel better to have it.
today i spent more time unpacking...and ABN built ikea furniture (desk, hutch), oh, and i did too (kitchen metal thingy, and my own desk - clearly i'm prepping either for grad school or serious writing/projects...something). we left with so many empty boxes and trash bags full of packing materials that it was difficult to get out of the apartment. but i'm hoping that we're at least at the halfway point. maybe.

Catching Up

i've been back from my latest la adventure for a couple of days now but have spent every second either at PN or unpacking our new apartment. i promised myself i wouldn't let another day go by without writing...something...so here's an update the only way i know how:

  • last friday, after a full day of work i high-tailed it to noe valley (i took MUNI for the first time...apparently the j-train and i will get to know each other quite well...think the green line in boston) to get a mani/pedi (la LBN always has a mani/pedi). i seem to schedule manis at inopportune times as i went straight from the nail place to our new apartment - where 7 men unloaded our 24 foot moving truck. that's right - 7 men (check out the photo proof!) we have a ton of stuff but within 45 minutes it was all out of the truck, large pieces were unwrapped and furniture was placed. amazing. i pointed, ABN supplied gatorade and after they left we toasted our new place with a bottle of prosecco.
  • saturday am we went to brunch at a place around the corner from apartment we have been staying in since arriving in SF. it's been on our list and we just haven't gotten around to it, so while it will still be walking distance (BN style walking distance...let's just say more than around the corner) from our more permanent home, we wanted to do sooner rather than later. it was yummy - i can't remember the last time we did brunch (oh yes i can, the morning we left boston, with BESTIE and FCR...sad) but really what was the best was sitting and talking to ABN. we've both been busy and a bit cranky so brunch...brunch was good. i then headed to PN for a full day (i worked until close) of selling. did i mention that on thursday i was the number three seller? and on friday i got my first PN card. well, saturday a customer wrote me a thank you note! amazing. and to think, i thought the non-profit world was where i belonged...don't worry...this isn't forever.
  • sunday morning ABN drove me to the airport (it took 15 minutes) and i boarded the plane to LA. virgin america...i likey! within two hours i was happily sipping a diet coke at NANI and EDDIE's before heading out to agoura. highlights of the trip included but are not limited to: sitting next to AUNT L at a grownup family dinner (because remember, i'm a grownup), watching GRANDMA make enough potato salad to feed everyone coming to her surprise party, going through boxes of EDDIE history and finally getting that we're never going to get through it all and that's okay, being wished a happy anniversary by NANI's doctor, sitting on my TALLEST friend's balcony with my TALLEST friend and one of the BOBBSEY TWIN cousins and realizing that everyone is growing up, having a "once a social worker, always a social worker" moment, watching the new 90210 while eating a presto chopped salad with my TALLEST friend - the only way to watch the new 90210, getting a manicure while sitting next to TRAC Y ULLMAN, realizing that EVERYONE reads this blog, realizing that living in SF means more opportunities for trips with these types of highlights.
and now i'm back...and i have been unpacking and working and working and unpacking. my newest thoughts are that working is taking up way too much time, and i'm not sure what i'm really getting out of it. i enjoy most of the time that i am spending there but i'm starting to feel like in some ways (mostly because of the schedule) it is a hindrance in my quest to build a new life here...instead of helping.

Pinkberry I Leave PLEASE!

don't worry...i haven't fallen off the face of the earth...i've just been trapped in LA. too much to say to write a real post now, at the dining room table at NANI and EDDIE's. it's been a full three days which make me fear for the future (there are just really so many boxes and drawers) and grateful for the present (its nice to be close enough to "drop by"). today we're off to BEV HILLS for doctor's appointments, NATE and AL'S and a possible manicure for me (although the walk around the block that would probably be necessary does not seem to be encouraged).

my TALLEST friend and i watched 90210 last night together, while eating chopped salad - and as far a i am concerned it was the only acceptable way to watch. so many thoughts but mostly...is that dylans's kid?
