oh my god - i know i need to post but i am totally and completely consumed by britney - for the record. i can't believe it's taken me a full week to get to watch it. i die. i cannot look away. i sort of just want it to go on forever. her life is so hard. and her bodyguards are SO israeli.
so the last few days have been great. book club was awesome - i feel like i had built it up to be this huge thing; i had planned it so long ago and yada yada yada - i could i have easily been disappointed. but really, it was better than i had hoped. the girls are awesome - i even feel like one or two could be true friends. the food was good, the discussion was good and i feel excited for what we are reading next.
oh and the the ERDR (formerly known as DOCTOR) came to visit and we left the city and headed to napa. a day of drinking wine and eating fish tacos. we went to frog's leap where we took a free two hour tour of the property, including a gorgeous organic farm, and sipped five different types of wine. and then before we headed out we stopped by turnbull where i joined the wine club - why not? once we got back to the city we met ABN and two friends for more wine down by the marina - it was fratastic.
i spent the weekend working (with a stop for dinner at in 'n out!) which was actually sort of fun because we were busy! today i was the number one seller - it's been a while so yea, i have a pretty big smile on my face. it's been a long few days and i'm beyond exhausted so i think i'll finish up with britney, catch up on some 30 rock and then crash. until next time...
